MANAGER: Stuart Nethercott

Appointed manager of Ware on June 5, 2011, Stuart is a former Tottenham Hotspur defender who made over 60 Premier League appearances for the White Hart Lane club. He enjoyed a successful spell as captain of Millwall, before taking his first steps into management at Ryman League side Maldon Town in 2009.

A long-term servant of the club, Gary has been coaching the club’s under-18s side in recent years. He returned to first team duties in 2010, and has been a key member of Stuart Nethercott’s management team.

A vastly experienced sports therapist, Colin arrived at the club after Stuart Nethercott was appointed manager. He has previously looked after the physio duties at Royston Town, and also looks after the matchday medical needs of the Spurs Legends team, for which Nethercott regularly plays.

Experienced goalkeeper brought to the club by Stuart Nethercott in September 2011. Madden played for Aveley in the Ryman League Premier Division in 2009 and has also played for Essex Senior League side Witham Town. He was first choice goalkeeper at Harlow Town for the first half of the 2010/11 campaign, and arrived at Ware from Maldon & Tiptree.

A young goalkeeper who arrived at Ware in the summer of 2011 from Bishop’s Stortford. Greenwood gained valuable first team experience with Stortford in the Blue Square Bet South last season, and brings plenty of drive and enthusiasm to Wodson Park.

A vastly experienced defender who joined from local rivals Cheshunt in January 2012. Primarily a left-back, Parry represented the Ambers for a number of years, and also had a brief spell in caretaker charge of the Theobalds Lane club towards the end of 2011. Parry made his debut for Ware in the away match against Brentwood Town on January 21.

  

DEFENDER: Jon Stevenson

Veteran central defender/midfielder who has been around the block in Non-League football and who reads the game exceptionally well. Good in the air and with plenty of encouragement for his team-mates, he has previously played for Harlow Town, Hitchin Town, Brimsdown Rovers and Enfield Town.

One of the squad’s elder statesmen, Dave was brought to the club by Stuart Nethercott, after he played under the boss at Maldon Town in 2009. At home anywhere along the back line, Bastian joined the club from Enfield Town.

 

DEFENDER: Wesley Beckles

Defender who arrived at the club in November 2011 from Ryman League Division One North rivals Enfield Town. He joined Town from Southern League side AFC Hayes, and has also previously represented AFC Wimbledon. He came through the youth set-up at Crystal Palace as a youngster.

Rispoli played for Ware at the start of the 2010/11 season but didn’t feature for the bulk of the campaign. He returned to train with the club in early 2011, and has impressed boss Stuart Nethercott both at centre-back and at left-back.

Impressive young full-back who played for St Margaretsbury as a youth footballer, before moving into senior football with Cheshunt. He joined Ware in the summer of 2011.

 

DEFENDER: Michael Akande

Versatile player who plays primarily as a centre-half, but who can also operate in central midfield. He has played for a host of Ryman League clubs including Leatherhead and Tilbury. He signed for Ware in January 2012 from East Thurrock United.

 

MIDFIELDER: Junior Adeoye

Right winger who can also operate as a striker. Joined the club in November 2011 from Spartan South Midlands League neighbours Broxbourne Borough, where he had six goals to his name since the beginning of the season.

Right-sided midfielder who can also play at right-back. The younger brother of Ware defender Vince Rispoli, Laurence joined the club from local rivals Cheshunt in October 2011. He also names AFC Hayes and Welwyn Garden City among his former clubs.

Johnson has caught the eye with some determined displays in the middle of the park. Having played for boss Stuart Nethercott at Maldon Town in 2009, the manager was quick to bring in Johnson to play in the heart of midfield. He has also played for St Albans City and Witham Town.

Young midfielder who joined the club from Waltham Abbey in September 2011. Hayes made his debut in the 2-1 home victory over Ilford on September 24.

 

MIDFIELDER: Harry Larner

Central midfielder who joined the club in September 2011. He has played for Billericay Town's Capital League team this season, and played for Dagenham & Redbridge in pre-season.

 

MIDFIELDER: Aime Blessing

Fast-paced winger who arrived at the club in September 2011 from Ilford. Blessing started the first five games of the season for Ilford, but fell out of favour and was later released. He trained with Ware, scoring in a trailists’ match, before making his debut in a Ware shirt at Great Wakering Rovers on September 27.

 

MIDFIELDER: Tom Querry

Currently in his second spell at Ware, left-winger Tom Querry is also a dead ball specialist. Having sat on the bench for Harlow Town during their FA Cup First Round tie with Macclesfield Town in 2008, he moved on to Bishop’s Stortford, joining Ware on dual registration at the end of the 2009/10 season. He then joined Sawbridgeworth Town while still registered with Stortford, before signing for Ware permanently in the summer of 2011.

Experienced goal-getter who last season played for Chesham United in the Southern League Premier Division. Having started his career at Ware as a youngster, Crace went on to play for Enfield Town and Harlow Town, before returning to Wodson Park in the summer of 2011.

Young striker who joined Ware on work experience from League Two side Barnet in November 2011. He has previously played for Chelsea. In January 2012, Barnet agreed to extend his stay at Ware until the beginning of March.

Impressive striker who joined Ware from Ryman League Premier Division side Wingate & Finchley in October 2011 in order to get regular first team football. Made an instant impact by scoring the winning goal against former club Potters Bar Town in the League Cup on his debut.
